Trauma and attachment specialists providing psychotherapy in Arabic and English for MENA and Muslim adults, couples, and families.
Hi, I am Hanouf. I work with adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of painful life experiences. Many of the people I work with have spent years functioning well on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, emotional disconnection, self-doubt, or relationship patterns that no longer feel aligned with the life they want to build.
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person's history, goals, and readiness for treatment. My work integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based psychotherapy, and other evidence-based approaches to support lasting change while moving at a pace that feels safe and clinically appropriate.
I am licensed in both California and Saudi Arabia and provide psychotherapy in Arabic and English for clients across California and the GCC. I am EMDR Certified, trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and have spent more than a decade working with trauma, attachment, and relationship concerns across diverse cultural contexts.
Alongside my clinical practice, I provide consultation and training for psychotherapists and regularly speak on trauma, attachment, and culturally responsive mental health care. As an EMDR Consultant-in-Training™, I also support psychotherapists working toward EMDR certification. Whether working with clients or clinicians, my approach remains grounded in evidence-based practice, thoughtful collaboration, and deep respect for each person's lived experience, cultural context, and values.
Hi, I am Dana. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and I'm a Licensed Specialist in Clinical Psychology in Saudi Arabia. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrate other evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment-based therapy.
I tailor therapy to each person's goals, strengths, and circumstances. I have experience working with diverse populations across a wide range of clinical concerns, including mood disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relational difficulties, and attachment-related patterns.
My clinical approach is grounded in the Multicultural Orientation Framework, recognizing the importance of cultural identity, lived experience, and context in shaping psychological well-being. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we'll deepen our understanding of your experiences, navigate challenges, and support meaningful change in a way that feels authentic, respectful, and sustainable.
